Our Driving Instructors
All of our instructors receive quality control supervision at regular intervals to ensure a high standard of teaching.
All instructors are DBS checked and approved by the DVSA. Our instructors hold a valid licence to teach, whether that be pink or green. Our driving instructors have a multitude of experience to individually cater for every learner driver, believing that one size does not fit all.

frequently asked questions
How many hours of lessons will I need?
All new pupils are offered an assessment lesson to meet your instructor and discuss how many hours you are likely to need to prepare for test.
The DVSA recommend that learner drivers take approximately 45 hours of professional lessons, but everyone learns at their own pace.
Do I have to pass my theory test before starting lessons?
No, although we highly advise preparing for your theory test as soon as possible to reduce driving test booking delays.
I am very anxious, will I need more driving lessons than others?
From experience there is no significant difference between the number of lessons needed for anxious learners than those that are relatively confident. It is natural for new learners to think that they are more anxious than others, but we endeavour to support you to overcome this problem throughout the course.
What do I need to bring with me on the first lesson?
Your photo license, prescription glasses if required and suitable footwear.
How much notice is required to cancel a driving lesson?
You are required to give a minimum of 48 hours notice if you would like to cancel a lesson without charge.
